Fiscal Year 2019-20 Budget Video

The City Council adopted the City’s Financial Plan and Budget for Fiscal Year 2019-20 with supporting resolutions on Tuesday, June 4.

The budget is balanced without a draw from the City’s reserves. General Fund revenues are estimated to be $61.1 million and expenses are projected at $61 million.

Considering all funds, expenditures are projected at $91.7 million. The economic outlook for Coronado remains positive with continued growth. The General Fund continues to be healthy.

Property Tax, the General Fund’s largest source of revenue, continues to see growth in excess of five percent per year. Transient Occupancy Tax, the General Fund’s second largest revenue source, is expected to see year-to-year growth just under four and one-half percent.
