The facility is currently closed to the public with the exception of limited use of the fitness room via reservation.

 

                     Important Election Information

The County of San Diego Registrar of Voters Office has begun mailing sample ballots and voter information pamphlets for the Nov. 3 General Election. On Oct. 5, ballots will be mailed to registered voters. Early voting also begins Oct. 5 at the Registrar’s Office. Beginning Oct. 6, mail ballot drop-off locations will open through Nov. 3. A reminder that Oct. 19 is the last day to register to vote in the Nov. 3 election. On Oct. 31, 235 super polling locations will open around the County, including one at the Spreckels Center. This is due to the limited number of polling locations due to the pandemic. The super polling location at Spreckels Center will be open Oct. 31, Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ballot Drop-off locations include the Coronado Library, 640 Orange Ave., and the Coronado Community Center patio, 1845 Strand Way.  The drop-off locations will be open during center hours.

Fitness room reopening details during the COVID-19 pandemic:

Updated October 19, 2020: The fitness center is open to the public by reservation only.  Online booking is available now.

The fitness center is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.  to 5 p.m. with the last reservation available at 4 p.m. Reservations are required as capacity is limited in order to follow COVID-19 protocols.  Upon entry patrons are required to wear masks, wash or sanitize hands frequently,  keep safe social distance and participate in a health screening administered by recreation staff. 

Online reservations are currently available.  Patrons will be able to register now.

Facility Details

  • Aquatics center with a 50 meter competitive pool and a shallow recreational/instructional pool. Currently open via reservations only.
  • Gymnasium with NCAA regulation sized basketball court with floor lines for basketball, volleyball and badminton. Currently Closed due to COVID-19.
  • An amazing indoor Climbing Wall which features a flat face wall, overhangs and chimney. Currently Closed due to COVID-19.
  • The Nautilus Banquet Room that can accommodate up to 250 people.  The room features a breath-taking view of Glorietta Bay (see our rental section for more information). Currently unavailable due to COVID-19.
  • A fully equipped Catering Kitchen for use with the Nautilus Room and Playhouse. Currently unavailable due to COVID-19.
  • Two Activity/Meeting Rooms with demonstration kitchen. Currently unavailable due to COVID-19.
  • A Fitness Center in which you can enjoy the view of Glorietta Bay as you work out on our state of the art fitness equipment. Currently open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.  to 5 p.m. with reservation only.
  • A Dance Studio featuring hardwood floors, ballet barres and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. Currently closed to the public; open for Recreation camps.
