Junior Volunteers
The Junior Volunteers meet each Thursday at 3:15 p.m. during the school year. The members help with children's programs and work on two plays a year to perform for younger kids. In the summer, the Junior Volunteers run the Summer Reading booth and help with Summer Reading programs. Junior Volunteers must have finished the 5th grade to join. Applications to join the Junior Volunteers are available at the three reference desks throughout the Library.

Summer Reading Program
The Summer Reading Program is for all children -- babies through 5th graders. (Students who have completed the 5th grade may join the Teen Reading Program). Children are challenged to listen to stories or read themselves all summer, and come to the Library to receive incentives to acknowledge their reading accomplishments.
