Mobility Commission

The Coronado Mobility Commission members are appointed by the City Council. The Commission seeks to integrate all modes of travel by promoting transportation facilities that are planned, designed, operated, and maintained to improve safety of mobility for all users, including bicyclists, pedestrians, wheelchairs, transit vehicles, motor vehicles, and all other wheeled and active transportation modes.

The Commission is charged with implementing the Active Transportation Master Plan, developing a traffic calming plan, assisting City staff in researching, planning, and implementing complete streets, sustainable streets, and vision zero concepts, and integrating emerging technologies, such as autonomous and electric vehicles, into the City's transportation network.

The Mobility Commission meets on the second Thursday of every month at 3 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 1825 Strand Way.
