City Council Actions from June 20, 2017



a.         Approval of Reading by Title and Waiver of Reading in Full of Ordinances on this Agenda.  (Pg 1) Approved.

*b.         Review and Approve that the Warrants, as Certified by the City/Agency Treasurer, are all Correct, Just, and Conform to the Approved Budget for FY 2016-2017.  (Pg 3) Approved.

c.         Authorize the City Manager to Execute an Amendment to the Agreement with Keyser Marston Associates, Inc. in an Amount Not to Exceed an Additional $22,500 for Specialized Services Related to the Affordable Housing Property Project.  (Pg 51) The Council authorized the City Manager to execute the amendment to the agreement.



a.         Public Hearing:  Adoption of “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Coronado Adopting the TransNet Local Street Improvement Program of Projects for Fiscal Years 2017/18 Through 2021/22.”  (Pg 95) The Council approved the proposed Program of Projects to be included in the Regional Transportation Program to receive TransNet funding over the next five years; and adopted the resolution adopting the TransNet Local Street Improvement Program of Projects for FY 2017/18 through 2021/22. 


10.       CITY COUNCIL:

b.         Reconsideration of Adoption of a Resolution to Designate a 20-Foot Yellow Curb Loading Zone at 333 Orange Avenue.  (Pg 109) The Council agreed to maintain a 20-foot yellow loading zone on the north side of the southern driveway to 333 Orange Ave., and directed staff to return with recommendations on expanding the red curb on the south side of the most southern driveway entrance at a future meeting.

c.         Briefing on Plans for the 2017 Fourth of July Celebration.  (Pg 121) The Council received the briefing on planning for the Fourth of July and provided direction to staff as appropriate.
