City Council Actions from Sept. 15, 2020

 

5.         CONSENT CALENDAR: 

a.         Approval of Reading by Title and Waiver of Reading in Full of Ordinances on this Agenda.  (Pg 5) Approved.

*b.          Review and Approve that the Warrants, as Certified by the City/Agency Treasurer, are all Correct, Just, and Conform to the Approved Budget for Fiscal Year 2020-2021.  (Pg 7) Approved.

c.         Adoption of “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Coronado Amending its Fiscal Year 2019-20 Personnel Authorization and Compensation Plan to Reflect Fiscal Year 2020-21 Salary Changes; Providing Benefit Adjustments of 4% to All Benefited Employees and a Benefit Allotment Increase of $4 Per Month for Retired Employees Participating in CalPERS Health Plans.”  (Pg 35) The Council adopted the resolution amending its Fiscal Year 2019-20 Personnel Authorization and Compensation Plan to reflect Fiscal Year 2020-21 salary changes; providing benefit adjustments of 4% to all benefited employees and a benefit allotment increase of $4 per month for retired employees participating in CalPERS Health Plans.

d.         Authorize the Execution of Change Orders in Excess of 10% of the Original Contract Price for the Third, Fourth, and I Avenue Storm Drain Improvement Project.  (Pg 39) The Council authorized the execution of change orders in excess of 10% of the original construction contract value for the Third, Fourth, and I Avenue Storm Drain Improvement Project.

e.         Authorize the City Manager to Execute an Amendment to Add Auto Tagging to the Current Axon Enterprise Agreement in an Amount Not to Exceed $7,800.  (Pg 41) The Council authorized the City Manager to execute Amendment #3 for $7,800 for the cost to add the auto-tagging feature to the current Axon enterprise agreement. 

f.          Authorization to Advertise the Golf Course Parking Lot Lighting Improvement Project for Bid.(Pg 43) The Council authorized staff to advertise the Golf Course Parking Lot Lighting Improvement project for bid.

 

10.       CITY COUNCIL:

b.         Consideration of Temporary COVID-19 Accommodations for Restaurants and Fitness-Based Businesses.  (Pg 57) The Council extended the temporary accommodations provided to restaurants for the use of public rights of way and to fitness-based businesses for the use of parks and beaches until San Diego County achieves the Moderate Tier 3 status for reopening.
