Library Reopening Plan

  • The library will open at 10 a.m. Monday-Saturday.
  • The first hour will be exclusively for patrons aged 60 and over.
  • At 11 a.m. the library will be open to all ages.
  • The library will close at 4 p.m. every day except Wednesday, when it will be open until 9 p.m.
  • Curbside pickup will still be offered daily from 10-11 a.m.


  • Patrons are required to wear a mask and take their temperature at a touch-less kiosk before entry.
  • The number of patrons inside the building is limited to 100.
  • Social distancing is enforced while in line and in the seating areas.
  • The library is not currently offering public computers, but wireless printing is available for library card holders.
  • The library is offering contact-less checkout with new self-check machines.
  • Payments of fines and fees will be cashless with our online payment option.

Keeping You Safe

  • High touch areas will be sanitized three times a day.
  • Bathrooms will be cleaned every two hours.
  • In accordance with guidelines, returned items are being quarantined before re-shelving.
  • Shared items such as magazines and newspapers are available online and for checkout upon request.
  • There will be no onsite programs or room bookings during this reopening phase.
