Summer Reading Club
The Summer Reading Club in the Children's Library is for all children through the 5th grade. (Students who have completed the 5th grade may join the Teen Reading Club). Prizes are awarded to all kids for books read, those who can read and those who are read to. Children come to the library to make oral reports on their books and receive incentives.
Twice weekly during the summer reading club a program is offered for children at the library. Programs include puppet shows, animal shows, magic, games, movies, and building our parade float for the 4th of July Parade. The summer newsletter is produced in May and details all the programs scheduled for the summer.
