Fourth of July Celebration - FAQ

Fireworks image over Glorietta Bay and Golf Course

To help resident and visitors plan a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July weekend, the City has created a handy list of frequently asked questions for the upcoming three-day holiday weekend. The list answers important questions such as when the fireworks start, where can you park and what time do the medians open. The major events for Monday, July 4, include the popular parade down Orange Avenue, four concerts and a fireworks display. There are other events spread across three days, such as a 12K/5K run and a rough water swim, both on Saturday, July Second, and the first of the weekend concerts and Art in the Park on Sunday, July Third. The other three concerts are on the Fourth of July. After a modified schedule last year, this year’s festivities will be back to pre-pandemic levels. This will mean big crowds in town. Watch out of City staff and public safety officials helping with street closures, parking enforcement, crowd monitoring, posting no-parking signs, opening City facilities and cleanup.
