In 1984 Coronado was designated as a Tree City USA. Today the city’s tree canopy includes over 9,000 public trees, which are located in parks, the parkways, and in the Municipal Golf Course. Would you like to help increase the urban forestry canopy for future generations to enjoy?
As part of the Street Tree Committee and Arbor Day, qualified residents can request trees for the parkway or right-of-way adjacent to their home. City crews will plant the tree which can be selected from an approved tree list and monitor the tree. You will be able to enjoy the benefits of the tree from your front porch.
To register for the program, please use the request form on the Street Tree Program webpage.
