Coronado Recreation has a variety of enrichment classes for your child to participate in starting on September 5th. The Coronado Community Center is busting with activities this fall, from cooking to jump rope to musical theater to dance. There is Tiny Tots, ballet, hip hop, and parent and me learning adventures for preschoolers and tots. For elementary students, there is tumbling, cheer, dance teams, and graphic design.
New this fall is our Pee Wee Sports program for children ages 18 months to 5 years on Tuesday mornings at the community center. For “Fashionistas” ages 8-17, there are new sewing and fashion design classes on Wednesdays after school. Artists 7-13 can try out the different drawing classes on Wednesday afternoons, and teens and adults can learn the watercolor technique of gouache painting on Thursdays at 5 pm.
