City of Coronado Recreation Department will be implementing CivicRec, a cloud-based recreation management solution, starting July 10. The program will allow residents to more easily see and register for upcoming activities, classes, events and more! Additionally, reservations for facilities and permits for parks and beaches will move online, allowing the public to see room/space availability, and complete a streamlined application process. The software is designed to be intuitive to navigate and easy for residents to use. In addition, it is mobile-friendly, allowing users to search for community activities and events, register, and remit payment even from a smartphone or tablet.
Customers with active PerfectMind accounts will not need to provide proof of residency or age at this time; information will be automatically transferred. An active account means a transaction has been processed in the last two years and has a valid mailing address. Three free public workshops in the new system will be held to provide opportunities for the community to create, set up, and edit their accounts, practice navigating, and learning about the new features and functionalities.
