[ARCHIVED] Some Courts Closed at Cays Park for Resurfacing April 17

Court Resurfacing project shows courts

The Court Resurfacing and Improvements Project will increase the quality of play and create a positive impact for residents enjoying the community’s outdoor tennis and pickleball courts. The construction includes resurfacing and restriping of tennis and pickleball courts at City facilities. The construction improvements will move forward in phases beginning at Cays Park and ending at the Tennis Center Complex. To create more playing areas for the growing number of pickleball users, crews will convert two existing tennis courts in Cays Park into dedicated pickleball courts.

The Court Resurfacing & Improvements will begin starting at Cays Park on April 17 with Phase 1: Basketball Court and Court 5 and Phase 2: Courts 1-4. The courts will be closed through May 19 for resurfacing and restriping. Once Cays Park is completed, work will move to the Coronado Public Library, then on to the Tennis Center Complex.
