Celebrate Arbor Day and help the Coronado community improve its urban forestry canopy at the Arbor Day Tree Planting event on March 11 at Spreckels Park, located at 601 Orange Avenue.
Sponsored by the City of Coronado Street Tree Committee, the Arbor Day Tree Planting event is open to everyone - groups, families, and individuals. Please note the deadline to apply for a tree is February 17. For more information, call the Public Services Department at 619.522.7380. Tools will be provided, and City staff will provide assistance. Participants are encouraged to bring gloves and tree planting shoes. Planting sites will be provided at check-in. Participants will receive certificates at the end of the event.
