[ARCHIVED] Ride the Lights Set for Dec 11

Ride the lights event. Children on bikes

Enjoy a festive evening with biking, cocoa, cookies and carol at the Ride the Lights event on Sunday, December 11 at 4:45 pm. The family-friendly neighborhood bike ride includes decorated bikes, helmets, and holiday cheer. 

Participants will meet at Spreckels Park, located at 601 Orange Avenue for the 2.9-mile bike ride.  After the event, the public can enjoy cookies, cocoa and other holiday festivities. The event is hosted by the City of Coronado Mobility Commission. Please note, rain will cancel this event.  

Sunday, Dec. 11 | Ride the Lights | Spreckels Park | 4:45 pm 
RULES

  • Obey all traffic laws
  • Use a front headlight and rear reflector
  • Helmets are required for participants under 18 years and highly encouraged for all ages
  • Children under 13 must be accompanied at all times by an adult
  • Be aware of your speed, all bikes and e-bikes are required to follow the officer leading the group
