The City held its annual Public Safety Open House Oct. 9 and welcomed the community get acquainted with their Coronado Firefighters, Lifeguards and Coronado Police Officers.
Tours of the stations were offered, demonstrations, including the Sheriff’s Department helicopter, were taking place throughout the event on the streets around the main fire house and Police Department, which were closed for the event.
There was a coloring contest, rock wall climbing, games, music and food. Other local, state and federal public safety agencies provided information on the services they provide.
Recreation Services, Public Services and other City departments set up tables and offered games, crafts and information on the services they provide.
