Get ready for some family-friendly fun at the Recreation and Golf Services annual “Halloween Happening” on Friday, October 28 from 3:30–5:30 p.m. “Ghouls,” “Boos” and their families are encouraged to dress in costume and head over to Spreckels Park to enjoy music, enchanting entertainment, trick-or-treating, “Spooktacular” games, crafts, prizes, candy and activities at no cost. Food and beverages will be available for purchase as well. For the adults 21+, the fun is just beginning with the John D. Spreckels Center Halloween Bash being held from 6–8 p.m. DJ Marshall will be playing groovy hits, there will be a mini monster cake walk, appetizers, and refreshments, and a cash bar will be open for spirits.
