The John D. Spreckels Center is providing new specialty classes for adults of all ages.
Early Morning Senior Fitness – Jump start the day beginning in October with John D. Spreckels Center’s 8 am Senior Fitness class taught by Ethyanne Andres. This moderate impact total body workout will help individuals build endurance and maintain a strong body. Participants warm up with inspiring music, transition to light weight work for their abs, arms and legs and end with deep stretching in this 55-minute class.
Beginning Acrylic – Students will learn fundamental painting techniques such as how to use water as a medium and how to control paint using acrylic. The classes will focus on interpreting imagery, learning how to breakdown images using geometric shapes, volume, and lighting.
Students will build their painting up through constructing basic images into a complex form. A list of supplies will be provided by the instructor at least one week before class start.
