The Planning Commission is appointed by the City Council to review and take action on planning applications such as use permits, coastal development permits, variances, and subdivision maps; and to implement the adopted General Plan of the City to serve and protect the public health, welfare and general safety of the citizens of Coronado

The Planning Commission meets on the second and fourth Tuesday every month at 3 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 1825 Strand Way.
