The City of Coronado has elected to participate in the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA). Public projects, as defined by this Act and in accordance with the limits listed in Section 22032 of the Public Contract Code, will be contracted by informal procedures as set forth in Sections 22032-22045 of the Public Contract Code.
Annually, on January 1, licensed and qualified contractors interested in placement on the City's Bidding Contractors List should complete the online application.
Contractors interested in placement on the Bidding Contractors List are required to be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations and have a current license, both of which are subject to verification through the State of California Department of Industrial Relations and the Contractors State License Board.
