Pool Hours & Fees

Entering the Facility
Please enter the Aquatics Center through the side gate (near parking lot) Monday through Friday from 5:30 to 7 am. Otherwise, during operational hours, access the pool through the Community Center. Locker rooms and showers are available daily when the Community Center is open.
Lap Swim
Lanes are first come, first serve. If all of the lanes are full, swimmers may share lanes by splitting the lane or circle swimming. As a courtesy, if someone is in a lane, please ask to share before hopping in.
Family Swim
Participants must wear provided wristbands during family swim. Family swim is currently offered in the recreation pool and the diving boards are closed.
Children under 8 years old require an adult within arm's reach in the water and on the pool deck. Children who are not toilet trained are required to wear a reusable swim diaper (may be purchased at the front desk for $10).
Water Exercise
Water exercise classes are held Monday through Saturday at 8 am, Tuesday and Thursday at 9 am, and a low impact class on Tuesday and Thursday at 10 am.
City-Provided Swim Lessons
City-provided swim lessons are three weeks long and are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the afternoon. Swim lesson curriculum follows Starfish Swimming®. Please register online or over the phone with the Community Center front desk at 619-522-7342, prior to the first day of the session.
Junior Lifeguard Program
The City of Coronado Aquatics Division is dedicated to providing a variety of aquatics programs both fun and challenging to the community in a safe, clean and friendly environment. We are committed to training all staff members in the latest skills and techniques in water safety and pool operations. Our staff strives to provide excellent customer service while enhancing the health, fitness and aquatics knowledge of all guests who use our facility. We pledge to do this through program instruction, aquatics exercise opportunities and recreational swimming.
