Capital Improvement Program

The City of Coronado Capital Improvement Program (CIP) identifies all new facility construction, facility refurbishments and infrastructure maintenance, and their respective funding sources to create a sound financial plan to meet the CIP goals. The program includes the design, construction, rehabilitation or acquisition of capital improvements that have a long-term lifespan, and cost more than $10,000. Funds for proposed projects may come from the General Fund, Golf Course, Wastewater, or Storm Drain enterprise funds; TransNet or Gas Tax funds; as well as monies received via grants, donations, or legally restrictive revenue from other agencies, such as Caltrans, the San Diego Unified Port District, or the Federal government.
