November 8, 2022 - General Municipal Election
The City of Coronado is a general law city with a five-member legislative body. The Mayor and four Councilmembers are directly elected by the registered voters of Coronado. The next general municipal election for the City of Coronado will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 for two Council seats.
The nomination filing period for the November 8, 2022 General Municipal Election ended on August 12, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Pursuant to Elections Code Section 10225, there is no extended filing period where there is no incumbent eligible to be elected. The filing period for write-in candidates begins on September 12 and ends on October 25. Please contact the City Clerk for more information.
