Community Grant Program
The purpose of the City's Community Grant Program is to strengthen our sense of community by enhancing Economic Development, Social Services, Arts and Culture, and Community Pride/Sense of Place through partnerships with local nonprofits to administer events, services, activities, and purchases more efficiently and economically than otherwise possible through the municipal corporation.
The Community Grant program is guided by Council Policy 28 - Community Grants (PDF).
If you have questions about this program, please contact Kelly Purvis via email.
Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 to 2023 Applications

To improve the experience of the grant applicants, the City has developed an online application to ease submission. Applicants begin with a pre-screening of four questions:
If you qualify for the program you will receive a link/password directly to the email you provide in the screening to the program application. You may work on the application and save your progress. You may complete the application in a single session or over multiple sessions.
An applicant orientation video is available for viewing on the City's YouTube page.
City Council reviewed the Community Grant Program at the council meeting on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 and accepted all of staff's proposed recommendations.
