Starting March 20 on Coronado TV (Spectrum 19 and AT&T 99), Youtube, and Facebook.
The City of Coronado advises residents to practice "social distancing," a proven policy for stopping the progression of a pandemic. However, just because we cannot physically gather does not mean that we cannot connect.
On March 20, the City will begin broadcasting programs it typically offers at the Library, Spreckels Center, and Community Center on Coronado TV, via the City's Facebook page and using its YouTube account.
In partnership with the Library, Recreation Department, and Cultural Arts Commission, the City is creating new content daily. Tune in to see chair yoga classes, Library Story Hour, and Cultural Arts videos. The City is the engaging staff, local creatives, and teachers to provide programming that otherwise would not be available to our citizens during this time.
There is an opportunity here to slow down and discover resources you may not have otherwise discovered in your day-to-day lives. This online programming is produced to serve our citizens and to support and highlight the programs and events that many in the community have already come to enjoy:
- Spreckels chair yoga
- Coronado Public Library story hour
- Cultural arts videos
- Rec kids yoga, dance, and more!
