Vision & Mission Statements

The vision of the Information Technology division is to add value by providing secure access to fully integrated voice and data technology to deliver actionable information to strategically empower City staff to make sound business and operational decisions. The division's mission is to assist the executive team and elected officials in using information technology to add strategic value to key business processes through partnering in the application of information technology solutions and by delivering the highest quality products, services and data in a timely, reliable and cost-effective manner.

Our Team

The Information Technology division is comprised of five full-time employees, who have a wide range of skills and IT industry experience. The services offered by the division include desktop support and maintenance of desktops, servers, and network infrastructure; support of financial systems and permitting applications; management of alarm and access control systems; integration and management of cloud apps; user training; and management of the City's various web, email, and Internet presences. The division supports all City departments, including the systems/apps specified:

• Administrative Services (Finance and Accounting, Human Resource and IT)
• City Clerk
• City Manager
• Community Development (Permitting, Code Enforcement and Housing and Economic Development)
• Fire (mobile computing, mobile GIS and records management)
• Police (Dispatch, Records Management, Mobile Computing, Evidence Tracking, CLETS and Security Cameras)
• Public Services and Engineering
• Recreation and Golf
