Fourth of July Holiday Schedule 2013

CORONADO, CA (July 1, 2013) - The City of Coronado reminds residents and businesses that most non-public-safety City facilities, including City Hall and the Library, will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

Coronado Police and Fire will be staffed during the holiday for emergency services.

Certain City of Coronado departments and services are open and most have varying hours of operation on Thursday:

  • The Community Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • The Aquatics Center will be open from 12:30 to 5 p.m.
  • The Boathouse will be closed for rentals. However, customers with stored vessels will have access to their equipment.
  • The Skatepark will be open from 10 a.m. to sunset.
  • Public Services will maintain the trash/recycle bins and restrooms at the City's parks but will not conduct neighborhood street sweeping on Thursday. The Department's offices will be closed on the holiday.
  •  EDCO will not perform regular residential trash collection Thursday. As a result, there will be a one-day residential delay in service next week.
  •  The Coronado Municipal Golf Course is open on the Fourth of July holiday. Tee times are from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
