Beached Sea Lion Pups May Bite
Coronado, CA (March 25, 2013) - Coronado Police and Lifeguards are trying to get the word out to residents and beach visitors to stay away from beached sea lion pups that have been turning up along the City's shores.
Do not try to pick up the marine animals. Although sea lion pups are young, they have been known to bite when they are frightened.
If you come upon a young sea lion, contact the Lifeguards who will contact the rescue team from Sea World in San Diego.
