Stucco Work Underway at Coronado Golf Course

Coronado, CA (July 12, 2012) - Construction crews have begun work to clean and repair damaged stucco on the Coronado Golf Course Clubhouse. The job is expected to take 45 days.

During the work, golfers and other visitors are being asked to stay clear of any areas under construction.  Crews will use scaffolding and place barricades around their work areas for safety reasons.

The work is part of a larger project to upgrade the Golf Course and its operations.  Previously, the Clubhouse restaurant and kitchen received upgrades and refurbishment.  Other recent improvements included roof and tile repair, roof drip-line installation, and trim painting.

The stucco work is being fully funded by Golf Operations fees. No City taxes are being used for this repair project.

Thank you for your patience while the Coronado Municipal Golf Course is undergoing these upgrades.  The City of Coronado is continually striving to improve its golf course, already one of the most enjoyable and affordable golf experiences in Southern California.
