Take the RSIP Survey, Deadline Nears
CORONADO, CA (May 30, 2014) – After attending a May 21 public workshop to discuss how residents want their neighborhoods to look like in 10 years or reading up on the previous work of the Residential Standards Improvement Program, residents are encouraged to complete a City survey.
We want your input on residential design standards that may affect Coronado's quality of life and village atmosphere. An important way to get your opinions expressed is by taking the survey.
There has been a good response to the survey so far but we would like to hear from all of Coronado. The survey can be found at www.coronado.ca.us/RSIP. It closes at 9 a.m. on June 16.
The City Council recently reconvened an ad hoc committee it originally appointed in 2003 and re-formed in 2010. The Residential Standards Improvement Program 3, or RSIP-3, is reviewing and evaluating the results of the first two ad hoc committees and considering ways to further improve Coronado's residential standards and the quality of our residential neighborhoods.
The May 21 workshop included a slide presentation of single-family homes completed after the second Residential Standards Improvement Program was passed four years ago to show what changes already have been made. The slide show presented at the workshop also may be found at www.coronado.ca.us/rsip.
