Community Center Rentals

Thank you for looking at the Coronado Community Center for your event. The City of Coronado designed the Nautilus Banquet Room, Playhouse, and Meeting Rooms in the Community Center as places for the community to hold celebrations of life (weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.), meetings, and trainings.

From this letter the facility application for the Nautilus Room and Meeting Rooms, and approved catering list can be accessed by clicking on the words to be linked to that page. To request your date, please complete the facility application and press submit.  A $25 reservation fee will be applied to your credit card if the requested date is available.  If applicable submit your proof of Coronado Residency and/or proof of non profit status. This reservation fee is non refundable. You may also fax or scan the application to us at, (619) 522-7870 (with a Visa or Mastercard payment information for the registration fee) or mail it to us at Coronado Community Center, 1845 Strand Way, Coronado, CA 92118.

Reservations are taken on a first come, first serve basis. If multiple requests for the same room on the same date are submitted, at the same time, a drawing will be held to determine which request is selected for the requested date. Coronado residents and groups may submit a facility application up to 2 years in advance of their rental date. Proof of Residency is required with your facility application. Non residents and groups may submit a facility application up to 14 months in advance of their rental date. Faxed, mailed, or dropped off applications received before the date that they can be accepted will be time stamped as 8 a.m. for the date that the application can be accepted. You can click on the Nautilus Calendar to check for available dates, but please be aware that rental applications are processed faster than we can update this calendar.
The Community Center is equipped with a state-of-the-art, professional quality kitchen facility. For catering services you may select from our pre-approved list of caterers. If you would like to use a caterer that has not been pre-approved please have your caterer contact me at 522-2457 to see they would like to become an approved caterer. Only approved caterers may work in the Coronado Community Center.

If your facility application is approved you will be sent a facility rental contract (7 to 10 working days after application submittal). This contract will list rental fees, deposits, and dates that they are due (approximately 15 days after rental confirmation). Half of the rental fees and the entire damage deposit are due with the return of your rental contract.
