About the Department

Department Mission Statement:

The mission of the Administrative Services Department is to preserve and protect the City's financial and human resources, and to attract, select and retain an effective workforce and to facilitate the effective use of the City's information system resources.

Department Goals:

  • Provide accurate, timely and meaningful reports on the City's financial condition.
  • Attract and retain a quality workforce to assure that City services are provided in an effective manner.
  • Develop and manage cost-effective programs for workers' compensation and employee benefits.
  • Minimize the City's exposure to financial risk through a City-wide risk management program.
  • Continually develop and enhance the professionalism and service orientation of personnel within the Administrative Services Department.
  • Manage the City's information system resources in a cost-effective manner.
