DESIGN REGULATIONS

GENERAL PROCEDURES
Application forms for Commission review are available in the City's Community Development Department at City Hall. The application form(s), plans and materials, required fee(s), and (if applicable) the required supplemental material and public notice package, must be submitted to the Department of Community Development three Wednesdays prior to the Commission meeting. A staff report is prepared describing the application and is delivered on the Friday prior to the meeting to the Commissioners along with copies of the application forms and plans. The applicant will be sent a copy of the staff report and meeting agenda.
 
APPEALS
Any person may appeal a decision of the Design Commission to the City Council by filing with the City Clerk a written notice of appeal within fifteen (15) days after a decision of the Commission. Unless the Council, within twenty (20) days after an appeal has been filed, hears the appeal and renders a final decision, or refers the matter back to the Commission for re-hearing, the appeal shall be deemed dismissed and the decision of the Commission shall be final (CMC 70.12.140).
 
FEES REQUIRED
Fees are required in accordance with the current fee schedule.
